The Danish pump specialist Svaneh\u00f8j has secured an order from Samsung Heavy Industries to provide 42 pumps for three new very large ethane carriers (VLEC).
The Svaneh\u00f8j order includes 24 offloading pumps, 12 spray pumps and six fuel pumps. All of the pumps will be manufactured in Denmark and delivered to Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea within the first six months of 2020.Headquartered in Aalborg, Denmark, Svaneh\u00f8j Group designs and manufactures specialised deep well and in-line pumps for the marine and upstream oil & gas industries. In 2018,\u00a0the investment company Solix acquired W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 Pumps from Finland\u2019s W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 Group\u00a0and established Svaneh\u00f8j Group with companies in Denmark, UK and Singapore.
