The Weir Group has secured a \u00a395 million order to provide aftermarket components and service to the Iron Bridge magnetite project in Western Australia.
This aftermarket contract follows a record \u00a3100 million order that Weir won in 2019 for original equipment for the Iron Bridge project, including its Enduron High Pressure Grinding Rolls (HPGRs).
With this latest contract, Weir has now secured more than \u00a3200 million of orders from the Iron Bridge Project includin Enduron HPGRs, GEHO and Warman pumps, Cavex Hydrcyclones and Isogate valves.
To support the project and future growth, Weir is planning to build a new service centre in Port Hedland. The company says that this will provide employment and training opportunities in the area, with an emphasis on supporting greater Aboriginal representation in the broader mining workforce.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
