Atlas Copco has acquired US vacuum pump service provider Innovative Vacuum Solutions Inc. The company had 2014 revenues of about US$4.2 million and employs 19 people.
Based in Tampa, Florida, Innovative Vacuum Solutions specialises in the repair and maintenance of industrial and high vacuum pumps and related equipment, mainly on the US East Coast.
The acquired company will become part of Edwards Vacuum LLC within the Vacuum Solutions division in Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business area.
The Innovative Vacuum Solutions acquisition follows Atlas Copco’s recent announcement that the Swedish company was buying the vacuum business of OC Oerlikon Corp AG.
